Issue with "billiards/pool" word

EdChien   June 6th, 2011 2:11p.m.

I added tai2qiu2 (for billiards or pool) to a custom list and now when it prompts me for the word, it is only correct if I first write qiu2 and then tai2.

So, in effect, I'm writing qiu2tai2 while the prompt says the reverse. This is driving my neurotic self a little crazy, and I was wondering if anyone else has this problem.

Can y'all fix this? I've used the feedback messaging system twice now, but nothing's changed.

If it matters, I'm using traditional characters for Mandarin.

They must be a little bogged down with work at the moment. I always get a reply telling me the problem has been fixed (or why it can't be fixed) typically the same day and never more than two days after I report it. How long ago did you first report it?

strange!
it looks ok when it prompts for the characters here:
http://www.skritter.com/scratchpad?words=台球
does it happen when it prompts you for the pinyin?

pts   June 6th, 2011 4:44p.m.

Somehow the mapping between the simplified and traditional forms has messed up. 台球 is mapped to 球檯 and Ed is studying the traditional form and hence the problem.

I reported the problem twice a few weeks back, with maybe half a week between each try.

I think pts is right. I just need them to fix it. I guess I'll try the feedback message again (or hope that they see this message on the forum).

Yeah, corrections are pretty crazy of late, so we're behind. We'll get it before too long.

EdChien   June 15th, 2011 11:41p.m.

I noticed today that the issue has been fixed.

Thanks guys!
