Logo redesign!

I'm not talking about our furry, red, gender ambiguous friend up there. Or the calligraphy right next to it that it looks so pleased about. I mean that little icon. The one that is on my tab. On my task-bar. I don't know if anyone else sees this, because I couldn't find any threads on it, but it looks EXACTLY like the Big'ol Stride gum "S". I have nothing against stride. By I don't normally associate gum with millenia old character based writing systems. I don't know how hard it is to design those and insert them, but I would make my skritter experience that much more complete if that liddl' square looked a bit more 毛笔写的。

Haha, that's funny--we didn't know anything about Stride gum when we designed the favicon. It does look just about the same! I'll mention it to George to see if he's up for changing it. Favicon design is not easy.

lol gsoper, I have thought the same thing many times and just didn't see any reason to mention it. Perhaps our red furry friend enjoys chewing gum while practicing his/her calligraphy? XD

George does not want to redesign it, thinking there are few ways to make an "S" look good.

Well thanks for taking it into consideration. It's not a big deal. Maybe you could partner with them, because I know I always really want gum when I log on. Out of curiosity, how do you say chewing gum in Chinese? Never mind. I have the internet.
