Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

queue count

I noticed that the number of items reported in my queue doesn't seem to change. This is the number that shows up in "You have X items in your queue".

I looked at the first page of the queue, added a bunch of items from the study page, then refreshed the first page of the queue; the first several items had vanished but the count was the same. Adding items to the queue didn't seem to change the number either.

I have a huge number of items in my queue; could that be the reason?

I am not surprised. We are kind of ignoring minor bugs with the queue at this point, as it's going to be entirely obsolete when Scott gets done with it.
