iPad Air issues!!! Almost unusable...

montoya   January 26th, 2014 4:59p.m.

Skritter has been super buggy across the board on my iPad Air. The popup windows are impossible to exit because you can't click on "Done" or "Yes" and so on. It will not recognize my subscription being renewed. Words that I have marked as Easy keep being asked constantly. It's a total mess and I'm losing study time trying to deal with these problems.

Please fix these issues or refund my money! Also, get rid of the Parental Gate check for the love of god! Super annoying. Give us a way to disable it!

Seriously, fix these problems or refund m my subscription money. $15 a month is not cheap, especially for this experience.

That sounds terrible–sorry about that! Can you send a screenshot of the problem where you can't click on Done or Yes? I am not sure which popup window you are referring to. Some examples of words you have marked as Easy yet that keep coming up would also be helpful. (Are they coming up for the same part, like writing each time, or for different parts?)

Apple won't let us not use a parental gate for accounts created between July and December 15, since we were in the "For Kids" category and they're super paranoid about a kid being able to buy something or read a forum post or something like this. It pretty much sucks that they won't let us retroactively lift that now that we canceled the Kids label, but there's not much we can do. I could disable it for your account specifically in the next app update, though.

montoya, any chance your iPad is Jailbroken?

Nope, bought it new from the Apple store about two weeks ago.
