Feature

I think that a helpful and simple feature would be to be able to choose to hear the pronunciation a few times before the word appears. Though it would not always work because so many sounds mean multiple words, I think it would be a helpful option in building listening / identification skills. Sometimes I use a sheet of paper to cover the character to hear it first and try to figure out what it is and I think this is helpful.

You can click the audio button (or press "A" in the web interface) to trigger the pronunciation as often as you like–although if you want to hear it before seeing it for certain prompt types where the question is the word itself, then the sheet of paper technique might be the handiest. It would really slow most learners down to delay the prompt question appearance.
