IOS8 support?

Stephenmp   September 18th, 2014 5:14a.m.

With the official release of IOS 8 last night, is Skritter all tested and working with it? Just thought I'd ask before upgrading :)

All good. Been using it for the past few hours and I have had no problems at all.

I ended up upgrading and not waiting. Working fine for me too. Thanks.

It's actually not working if you try to adjust the retention rate setting, or a few other menus of that kind in the app–it'll cause a hang. So until I can get a new build accepted, try not to do that.

I've been working on an iOS 8 update, but fixing one thing lead to the next, and now although I've totally upgraded the graphics engine and fixed a bunch of bugs, there are a few more new bugs for me to do before I can resubmit the update.

All: please let me know if you end up seeing any bugs where it doesn't render large characters at all.

I've been using it for couple hours skitter time now (600+ reviews) and it's very useable. Long as you don't manually add words or play with settings it works great. I haven't seen any graphics bugs at all.

Right; the update with the graphics bugs is waiting for Apple's review now. With any luck, it should be out within a week. Then it'll be time to worry about new bugs!

For me there are a major bug. The character in big are not showed anymore after the update. Either when you have to guess the definition or where you have to guess the correct pinyin there is no character anymore. I cleared local data, uninstall skritter and in the end install the ios update. On my IPAD4.
Some suggestions? (HSK exam is near and thhis for me is a really big problem)

@Roccardo

We've found the error and submitted a fix to Apple. More details can be found at the following link: http://www.skritter.com/forum/topic?id=2571653696&comments=6
