adding words to database

Bohan   September 13th, 2012 6:54a.m.

Lately it seems like adding words to the database has become less easy than it used to be.

A lot of times I'll put in the pinyin and the definition, and then click "create word", but then it the word will still show up as not added to database, and when I try to add the pinyin/definition again, it says "already in the database" or "incorrect pinyin".

What I've been doing is adding the word again but with another few characters so that I can try to get in it my list.

Can you give an example of a word where this happened?

Bohan   September 15th, 2012 12:50p.m.

Hey Nick,

here's an example:

美国的人口是三点二亿

here's another:
张琬

I see--yeah, you're the first to create those words. Is this on the live site or beta? Where exactly does it show up as not added to the database?

this is happening more often than not, actually. It has become inconvenient to add new words to the database. Here is another one:

Which browser is this in? I'm having troubles reproducing the problem. Does it do it in multiple browsers?
