On linux mint 6, using opera 10 the pointer in the kanji drawing window acts really wonky. It lags way behind the mouse cursor position. In firefox 3 it works perfectly though. I'm not sure what information you need to trouble shoot this or if this is just something with opera browser.

On another note it works great in arch linux on firefox and chromium. I'll test it on opera 10 in arch later and see if it has the same problem.

We've heard of this problem with a few different setups, none of which we've been able to reproduce. If it's a laptop and you like cold weather, you could bring it to our command center at 48 West Vine (2nd floor). If it's a desktop or you prefer warmth, I could come check it out at your location.

I also have laggy kind of problem with Opera on my Linux machine (Ubuntu) over here as well, so it may be the Linux/Opera combo that causes the problems. I use FF instead (or, sometimes, Epiphany - both are fine)

You'd be welcome to come over and check it up as well, but it's a bit of a long walk to Leicester, UK.

Meskarune, scratch that; Scott reproduced it on his laptop just now, so I can take his computer to debug it. Will try to figure out what's happening soon.

And remember you Linux fellas, Chrome beta has just come to our systems. I still use Firefox for most things, but for the heavyweight google applications like gmail and wave, chrome is much more spry, especially for wave.

I've also been using chrome to edit Skritter vocab lists. Our list builder doesn't scale well to those really long custom word lists, so you might want to use chrome for that too, until we make something better...
