Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

Editing Definitions

If I edit a definition to fit more precisely with a particular list, does this edit take place within all of the lists that contain this word?

I'm pretty sure that the definitions you edit in the study page appear every time you study that word - at least it has for me.

Yep. Definitions are not tied to lists -- you will see that one definition for all instances of the word.
