The Quick add feature is great, but it is not so quick to come to the link to start it:
1. Opening the Lists function
1a. Wait until the list loads...
2. Click on the standard quick add list (Misc.)
2a. Sometimes I need to click on "see all" to see it...
2b. Wait until it loads...
3. Click on the Quick add function

Summarized: Time-consuming...

What about a quick Quick add button on the (quite empty) home screen?

I very much second this request. It should be easy enough to implement, but would make a world of difference to those of us who are adding words on the go.

I was hoping for this feature in the new Pleco 3, but they answered that it might appear in an update of their flashcard module next year. So after that I turned the question and asked it here...

This would be really useful, it takes a long time to wait till the lists load.

Yeah, we're spending much of 2014 heavily modifying our flashcard system so it didn't make much sense to implement Skritter sync support until we'd finished updating the part of Pleco that we'd be linking that to. (otherwise we'd just have to turn right around and rewrite it in a few months)

The current web-based Quick Add available from the lists area is not very good on iOS, so our hope would be to build a native version of that which would actually be quick; we could then put that accessible on the home page more easily. That and adding from Pleco will be pretty sweet. Those are our two plans for improving here.

You mean the words you have in your pleco flash card list would sync with skritter? I primarily use pleco as a dictionary, I have used the flash card part but use skritter instead. However I regularly look up a word and really want to add it simply to my skritter list using some sort of add to skritter word on the characters definition page. At the moment it's just way too much trouble to switch apps and use the skritter add word function which is quite often not very responsive and frustrating to use. I look up a lot of words in class and feel if I could add them directly to skritter where I would be reviewing them fairly soon after that would really assist learning them.
