Lesson by lesson?

I've just started using this app, but I can't understand how to limit new words\kanji per day. For example, I start with the book "remembering the kanji" and today I want to learn only first lesson. But after lerning first, there come kanji from second lesson and first part just won't repeat. Can I select not just book I'm studying, but also a lesson?

Don't know if there is a dedicated method, but you could try switching to manual mode and add as many as you feel comfortable with.

There are a couple ways to do this, one way would be to set the list to pause adding after each section from the list's options (by clicking the list's name, and then "Change Study Settings" on the left hand side. Another would be to remix the list section as it's own list, and then study that single list within advanced study. Also as Kai mentioned you could set your word adding frequency to manual for complete control over when words are added, which might be the simplest route.

Personally, I don't use any of the lessons on Skritter (sorry Nick (and the whole gang)). I found the words too textbookey for my liking (sorry again, Skritter creators). I got my girlfriend to make me a list -- though the list contains some 髒話 ;)! I can send you the list if you were interested?

@klooste, aren't all the lessons right out of textbooks, or what exactly do you mean? I would be interested in your list! You could make it public and share the link here or share it via email at: zacharias dot vf at gmail dot com
Thanks!
Zacharias
