Replace Bamboo Tablet?

安勇氣   July 5th, 2014 11:09p.m.

Hey all,

Just wondering how often --if at all-- ya'll replace your bamboo tablets?

Thanks! 麽麽!

Never. In fact, I use an old Wacom tablet from about 2000. Still works perfectly.

Also still using my first Wacom tablet from around 2008. It still works fine, so no need to change it anytime soon.

Apart from the fact that I almost exclusively use my phone now, just like @usbrandon my postcard-sized wacom from about 2000 is still going strong. In fact for writing characters I prefer it to the newer ones that I use for graphics.

I got mine a year ago. I use it only for skritter (240 hours) and everything's still working fine. However, because of the orientation I only use a small part of the tablet, so at that area there are some scratch marks. I am not sure if anyone else has this "problem". I also don't know how often one is supposed to change the nib. I can't find a big difference about one that was used for 2 hours and one that's used for 100.

I have the same problem: a smaill section of my tablet is well used.

Thanks for all your advice folks!
