Right now I have a massive review queue that I'm working on clearing, but words are continuing to add themselves automatically, despite the fact that my add word speed is set to 'Manual add only'. I also tried the 'slow' setting with the same results. For the time being, I would like to focus on clearing reviews and these new words are generating reviews faster than I can clear them. Any ideas about how to resolve this problem?

IT might be that there are still Some words that haven't been Fetched yet. Do they add 1 by 1 or suddenly like 40-200 à time.

Actually, both ways. Sometimes they add 1 by 1, and sometimes a huge chunk gets added.

@jmatek: I think this might be because the writing portions were added before, and that the pinyin prompts were queued but not yet studied and that it's showing them being added since they weren't added before, but still queued to be added. I wasn't able to notice the huge chunk at a time though, do you happen to remember when that seems to happen?

That sounds right, the majority seemed to be definition, reading, or pinyin prompts. I don't remember specifically when the huge chunks at a time were added, but I think it may just be a result of server lag so that many individually added words don't show up initially, but then a chunk gets added simultaneously to the 'words added' box.
