bamboo fun pen and touch lag/issues

Hi,
I am trying out Skritter and would like to relearn the 1500 Hanzi series by Heisig. I did these in an intense three week stint almost a year ago with Anki + pen and paper and I am curios how fast I can relearn them now.
I have fixed all the settings I could for windows 8 for my pen and touch, and got rid off the ripple effect. I applied the recommended tip feel settings and double click distance, disabled flicks, disabled press and hold via a registry change (no more ring appearing, when "pressing"). And input still blows...
I write out my characters very fast, because well, I am used to writing them a lot. When I start drawing the a few strokes after a while it simply doesn't accept any more input, making me draw empty strokes. When I draw very slowly I can see a ghosting effect, like the ink following my pen, which is also annoying. I checked if it was a server issue on your side with the server status check, but I'm not sure what 0.00 items per second means. Is this a default value for "no problem" or is the whole site just slow right now? Also I wonder if the canvas size has anything to do with it. I can assign 150 or 250 pixel for the canvas, but I can also zoom in and out on my 1080p screen. Shouldn't 250² as a setting equal 250² pixels on the screen, is maybe there the problem?
I tried the site with Chrome and Firefox, all to no avail.
I have no problem drawing on ms paint, no ghosting and no empty strokes. Just fluid fast motion.
Anyone has the same issues or a solution? Should I try to use the Wacom plugin (doesn't work on both browser for me)?
Anything else I should check, try and report?
Best Regards,
David

Your problem sounds similar although not quite the same to the problem I was having.

In the end I found that using Internet Explorer seemed to rememdy the issue. The problem I was having presented itself in Chrome, Firefox and Opera, but not IE. I still have no idea why.

Wow, this actually works. Man, I would have never tried IE, that's some thinking outside the box.
Thank you very much.

No problem, glad it worked for you too!
