disable flicks

I have read on the forum to disable flicks but I can't find that setting. Is it a setting only used on older models?

What are "flicks"?

Flicks are a pen tablet navigation feature that comes with Vista and Windows 7. Personally I have never run into problems with them, however I don't use the pen to navigate. Here's how to go about disabling flicks:

1) go to the control panel
2) click on "Pen and Touch"
3) go to the flicks tab and deselect the top checkbox

At first I thought I had to change the setting from the "Pen Tablet Properties" menu inside the control panel, but it turns out that the flicks control is located in the pen and touch area ( very intuitive Windows).

Does that work for you ddapore99?

That explains it. I'm using Windows XP.
