Android: Retention Rate?

Arcanis   September 10th, 2014 2:51a.m.

I like android app very much, but can't find retention rate settings. I get overloaded with repetitions and can't really use it. So I had to return to my old iOS app, which saddens me.

Can I expect retention rate settings in Android app? If so, when?

I believe that if you change retention rate settings on the web version, this will come into effect on your devices, but perhaps the Android app doesn't have this connection, I'm not familiar with it.

Right now the Android application downloads the retention rate value from the website as Catherine mentioned, but ignores it when calculating the number of items due. This may or may not get implemented on Android depending on if we find a better way calculate it. Right now the html5 project (which encompasses Android) is our guinea pig for introducing changes and moving Skritter forward.

My suggestion for you if you're feeling overwhelmed is to turn off the due count in the settings and focus more on how much time you spend studying.

In other news there have been several major overhauls to the Android application over the past few weeks which are scheduled for release by the end of the month.

Oh, well. Didn't get about calculating items due settings (can't find it, actually), but I'll be waiting for the next releases, then.
Thank you for the answer.
