I noticed the site was going really slow, pretty much unusable, and it appears one of Google's DNS servers is flipping out tonight. Unfortunately, it's the one that all traffic must go through given our reverse proxy setup, so everyone using www.skritter.com is affected.

Try skrit.appspot.com; for me anyway it works fine, so I guess it largely sidesteps whatever problem the www.skritter.com path is currently having, but I imagine not for everyone.

Thanks for posting. I did run into the slowdown; kept thinking it must be my ISP. Just got to bed a little earlier!

Looks like the slow down lasted about two hours, from 11 PM to 1 AM Eastern US time. These problems, when they do come up, tend to be temporary and Google fixes them pretty quick. So if you can't access the site, give it another try a few hours later, or try our alternate address, skrit.appspot.com.
