Macbook Air trackpad

贺知宝   August 20th, 2014 7:30p.m.

Hello,

I came across a cool Chinese input method on my MacBook Air called Trackpad Handwriting. When using it, the trackpad becomes a canvas and you can write characters on it as if it were a Wacom Tablet. Anyway to set this up with Skritter?

In other words, I would like for the area of my trackpad to represent the area of the Skritter writing square.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, last I checked, there's no way to do this without hacking some private APIs, and that's not even possible from the context of a web browser.

I found a cheap app for this called Inklet.

I've used it on my Mac, but still prefer to use a Wacom tablet. You can definitely get the feel right using the app to adjust sensitivity etc. This way you don't have to mess with all the hacking Nick is talking about.

There is a writing window function in Inklet where you set the region and how it corresponds to your trackpad.
