scratchpad word add speed

I've been wanting to write about this for a while now.

When I add words to study on Scratchpad, if I don't add them quickly enough it won't let me click "study" to begin. A lot of times when I add a word that isn't in Skritter database, by the time I input the definition and pinyin, it will be too long to actually click "study", so I usually either end up making a list or try to do it again.

Sounds like a bug, but I'm not sure it will be easy to fix. Not very many people use the scratchpad in this way.

How exactly are you adding the words to the scratchpad?
