Looks like the Great Firewall or something like it is preventing you from completely loading www.skritter.com because it is hosted on Google App Engine, which is periodically blocked. Try instead our mirror:

legacy.skritter.cn

This might also be caused by an internet filter, such as SafeEyes. If you have such a filter installed, try adding appspot.com to the list of allowed domains.

er... is it possible to make them visible? I see it mentioned here in some topics but I can't find how to make them appear. am I really that blind? or are they only for iPad? they could be visible at least in the "information" tab.

oh I found the answer! I needed to "clear local data".
Well that is not obvious at all!
